1914 Fiat 15/20HP Tipo 52B Salamanca, coachwork by Brewster

1914 Fiat 15/20HP Tipo 52B Salamanca, coachwork by Brewster. This car possibly inspired the styling of Brewsters own first car, the 1915 Brewster Town Landau. The venerable house of Brewster & Company had been Carriage builders to American gentlemen for horseless carriages since 1810. In 1905, Brewster became importers for Delaunay-Belleville, the most desirable French cars of the time. This would mark their first venture into automobile body building & the beginning of their history of providing coachwork for some of the most prestigious motor cars, including Rolls Royce when built at Springfield, Massachusetts.
Found by Ben Moles, Florida. I imported this very original car to the UK in 1988. Lovely to drive, after all these years the quality still shines through. Pictured above in USA, below in UK, note my tow vehicle, Mercedes G wagon, now also considered a classic! (both) Sold.
